One of the important lessons that I've learned is that most of what people know about being successful has and will come from the simpler things in life. We listen, watch and learn from people who are like us--who we can relate to and connect with. Those are the people that you will read about in both Pink Leadership and Be the Horse or the Jockey. I don't include celebrities or lessons from famous people. You and I are not famous. We are just real people. (If you are famous, then that's okay, too--you were probably a "real person" at some time in your life?)

I wrote these books for you because I believe that everyone should have every opportunity to be "all that they can be." It's my sincere hope that the lessons, tips and techniques that are in both books help you on your path to becoming a superior leader, or a professional follower or both.
